Slow cranking battery
Webb27 mars 2024 · Sometime ago, had slow cranking, I knew the batteries were old. Came out of work hit key and just got a click out of it. Cleaned up connections as best I could with Jack knife. To my surprise it did start, but not the next day. I went out and bought 2 new batteries and cleaned connection. When I hit the key all I got was a click. Webb23 feb. 2015 · It's not 3 or 4 cranks. it's 3-4 seconds of me holding the ignition at ON. I can hear it slowly turn over, as the dash lights pulse, then it eventually starts. As I can hear the engine turning over, the time it takes for it to turn over decreases and it will start, but its definitely not normal.

Grounds are all done, I am wondering if its the starter relay or the starter solenoid itself.
